Finish: CDC Global Immunization Division

Project Final

In September of 2015, Spark Corps was given the amazing opportunity to design the layout and graphics for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Global Immunization Division 2015 - 2020 Strategic Framework.

The CDC GID is a division of the Center for Global Health which oversees public health programming to individuals in over 60 countries on 6 continents. The work of the GID focuses specifically on the distribution, monitoring and implementation of vaccine programs in areas of high need.

According to their website, “CDC’s Global Immunization Division (GID) is involved in one of the most effective of all global public health missions – vaccination against deadly diseases – which saves the lives of 2 to 3 million people every year. GID works closely with a wide variety of partners to protect global citizens against contagious and life-threatening vaccine-preventable diseases.”

This year marks the 50th anniversary of CDC’s global immunization leadership, which began with the establishment of CDC’s Smallpox Eradication Program in 1966.

To highlight this important milestone, Spark Corps was tasked with providing branding and design work for their 2015 - 2020 Strategic Framework. The strategic framework will be used as a road map for policy makers, public health leaders and key stakeholders to engage in the goals and mission of the GID.

Deliverables

For the completed project, Spark Corps delivered a 40 page PDF that will be shares both digitally and in print with key global immunization stakeholders. The final product utilized our skills in graphic design, layout, data visualization and copy writing. This week, the CDC released the digital copy of the Framework with intentions to print and send additional copies over the next year.

You can view the entire Strategic Framework here.
